Can anyone honestly tell me how having Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State will tarnish the image of the United States?
Can anyone remember the cowboy diplomacy of "Dead or Alive", we will "Hunt him out", that cocky swagger into the United Nations W. did when he already decided to invade Iraq, the Mission Accomplished sign, the newspaper headings in foreign countries the day after the 2004 Election...my favorite reading "How can 53,000,000 people be wrong?"
Do any of you remember that?
Moreover, our current Secretary of State specializes in Russian affairs. How handy did that come into play the last four years.
Hillary is already showing broad support in the Senate for her confirmation, leaders across the globe are praising the choice (do the research), and let's not forget..........
OBAMA IS THE ONE WHO APPROACHED HILLARY.
He needs the smartest and the brightest...she will be the most loyal to our new President.
I put my Hillary sign back up with pride!
MSNBC has just reported that Rahm Emanuel has accepted the job of Chief of Staff for President Obama. There was talk that he wanted to pursue the Speaker of the House position, but apparently loyalty is much stronger than ambition.
Obama and Emanuel have a long friendship that goes back years.
The job offered came very early this morning when Obama when the Presidency.
Question, what happens to his seat?
As you scroll through my previous diaries, you can see that I am a staunch Hillary supporter. I thank her for her gracious bow out, her staunch support for Mr. Obama, and her courage to raise over $6,000,000 for our future President.
I will be giving up the diaries that try to point out why Obama may not win, to posting diaries that on why he should win. McCain is simply wrong on all the issues, and call me selfish, I will benefit more with an Obama Administration.
I do call you to action though with this request:
Hillar Clinton for Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate

The Huffington Post even speculated about this way back in February. I see this as momentum building on her behalf. I think, as the article points out, it would be good for Obama's legislative agenda if Hillary led the Senate with their combined liberal and progressive ideals.

Obama will be our next President and Hillary will help him every which way she can.
Your thoughts?

On a West Virginia radio station today, I heard on WAJR, Morgantown and Clarksburg Areas, state "I bet America Wishes they had Hillary Now." I guess the only good news now is that while McCain and Obama are fighting about who is the bigger celeberity, Hillary is actually trying to get something done."
I am voting for Obama. Plain and simple. But this is an idea that is spreading.
In the long run, she is better off. McCain and Obama are fighting for the spotlight. She is fighting for us.
I don't care what you say, she is the stronger candidate...especialy now and after Washington Mutual, the biggest bank and just failed.
God help this country if Obama loses.
Before anyone can get excited, Strategic Vision will be releasing a new poll tommorrow showing this:
McCain: 48%
Obama: 44%
I live in Ohio and I can tell you, Ohio will not go for Obama. The Democratic Candidate will not carry the counties that Bill Clinton did in '92 and '96. Ohio's Governor Strickland carried these counties to victory and so did Hillary.
Folks, do not get excited. This is far from over and it now show that McCain is gaining in Ohio...

MSNBC just reported that Joe Biden stated on a campaign stop in New Hampshire that Hillary Clinton would be a better Vice Predential pick than him.
My thoughts exactly. We even now have the Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee acknowledge that Hillary would be better at this "game" than him.
How can the Obama campaign run and effective campaign when they are not on message and they themselves appear not to be unified.
God help us if Obama loses this election.
Update [2008-9-10 17:41:58 by mtg44234]:Here is the link just hitting the news network... http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/09/biden-hillary-a.htmlWhat can I say? This article says it all. Obama could not swallow his pride and pick Hillary. Obama could not compromise and now look. McCain has a bigger bounce, and Palin is controlling her own image. This is slowly slipping from Obama hands and if you do not believe me, try reading any news website and see how the different demographics are slowly slipping away from Dukakis or um Obama to McCain's corner.
YOU OBAMA SUPPORTERS...read this article. It speaks the truth and you know it. This election is looking exactly like 2004 and we all knew this was coming.
I will not forgive Obama if he loses this one.
